This crazy guy is none other than the epic Daniel C Nielsen. We met at the first Constellation Convention in Lincoln, NE on a panel about publishing. Since then, we have been making trouble at sci fi/fantasy/anime conventions and enjoying every second of it. I suckered him into doing an interview for me (I asked, batting my eyes, which is the same as suckering.) So, here's the answer to some of your burning questions:

TJ and I met when I helped her as a publicist. After the short campaign, we have stayed in touch and cheered each other through writing and personal ups and downs. She's a prolific author, a writer who knows her audience and and all around fun, sassy gal!
The Practice Date by Victorine Lieske
From Amazon:
From New York Times bestselling author of NOT WHAT SHE SEEMS.
Jane’s been in love with her best friend Lance since they were kids. Best friend, that is, until he ditched her for the more popular crowd. What’s a computer nerd doing spending time with jocks anyway?
When he asks her for help getting a date to the prom with the most popular girl in school she almost tells him to take a flying leap. But she’d be spending time with him, teaching him to dance and he’d be holding her...that sounded like heaven.
So she says yes.
But how much practice can her heart take?
From Me:
My amazing husband bought me a Kindle for my birthday!
Happy dance! Happy dance!
I mentioned to him how I wanted one because I read tons of books for enjoyment and for reviews. I griped about having to sit in front of the computer to read the eBooks. I hated feeling tethered and I couldn't go anywhere and keep reading. *gasp!*
Now that I've played with it a bit, here's my thoughts.
